I started in marketing nearly 25 years ago and have loved almost every minute of it. I enjoy meeting a lot of new people, creating and analyzing materials, tactics, and strategies, and coming up with new ideas for my clients and their audiences. No two clients have the same needs, and that's what makes it so exhilarating for me.

I love what I do so much that I launched Gwen’s Web Creations as my very first entrepreneurial endeavor, and then changed the name and scope and began Convergence Mktg. My goal is to drive meaningful, measurable, and sustainable results that propel your business forward and contribute to a more equitable and inclusive landscape.

Need: Create new website
Goals:

  1. Create in 4 days

  2. Make it user-friendly, easy to find all the information about each of the races, duplicate the information several places

  3. Must be functional with all of the information available and easy registering

  4. Results must be available on site when timer posts them

  5. Updates must be made quickly and easily

  6. Everything about race must be in electronic format

Outcomes:

  1. Had an increase of visits by 128% mo/mo; unique visitors by 98% mo/mo, and an increase of page views by 87% mo/mo between March - July 2022

  2. Feedback from coaches, parents, athletes, etc. was that the registration process was one of the easiest they had ever used for similar events

  3. Site was easy-to-use, easy to navigate, and information was easy to read and locate

  4. Entire event from the planning to follow-up was completed in 3.5 months (normally takes over a year - this was the first year); my client was asked to host it again next year and add an extra day of racing because it was so well-organized and communication was “on-point”
